GTA VI Release Date Confirmed for Fall 2025

After years of speculation and leaks, Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch in Fall 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game will feature a modern-day reimagining of Vice City, the beloved Miami-inspired setting from 2002's GTA: Vice City. The map is rumored to be the largest in series history, featuring not just the city but also surrounding swamps, beaches, and rural areas.

Dual Protagonists

For the first time in the series, players will control two protagonists: Lucia, a Latina woman recently released from prison, and her partner Jason. The dynamic between these characters is said to be central to the narrative.

Technical Showcase

Early footage suggests GTA VI will push current-gen hardware to its limits, with ray-traced lighting, incredibly detailed character models, and a living world that reacts dynamically to player actions.
